Our well established Edmonton office is currently seeking to add to our team with a newly created Analyst role, which will specialize in the areas of Financial/Operational forecasting and process improvement.

Reporting to the Controller, the Analyst will be primarily responsible for providing strategic financial management support within a complex setting.
The successful individual will define and develop key performance indicators, analyze and interpret financial and operational performance, track key operational objectives and strategic initiatives to improve the efficiency and profitability of the companies.
In addition he/she will be responsible for report design, manipulation, distribution, database design and efficiency tool development, as well as data conversion implementations.


Desired Qualifications: 


·         Advanced computer skills  in SQL, Visual Basic and Database Management ·         Minimum of 3-5 years hands-on accounting experience ·         Post Secondary Degree or Diploma in Accounting, or an acceptable combination of education and relevant experience required ·          Previous related experience is strongly desired in financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis  ·         Capacity to adapt quickly to change and manage multiple tasks / deadlines effectively ·         The preferred candidate will bring initiative, strong analytical skills, and be committed to continuous process improvement in a dynamic environment.
