We are currently looking for an Database Analyst (SQL) to join ourI.T. Department.



Purpose:

·         As Database Analyst, you will be responsible for providing support to the Business Intelligence Group in relation to analytical requests and projects. You will have a strong understanding of business concepts with working knowledge in key technical tools. This position works within a team that has an impact on all divisions in the company.  
DUTIES INCLUDE:

·         Create, modify and troubleshoot various processes implemented in SQL Server and MS Excel ·         Administrative duties, in publishing  and creating reports in a variety of methods (MS Excel, SQL Server, Microsoft Reporting Services) ·         Design and develop application code in T-SQL (using stored procedures, views and functions) to solve business problems ·         Dealing with analytic system requests within our BI Team ·         Handle requests in the form of analysis improvements ·         Enhancing existing analytic solutions ·         Provide documentation on applicable changes to systems and process flow
QUALIFICATIONS:

·         2 or more years of professional experience developing in SQL Server 2005/2008 ·         Strong T-SQL coding skills in stored procedures, views and UDFs. ·         Strong knowledge of manipulating data within Microsoft Excel. ·         Must have a strong knowledge base on database and programming methodologies ·         Excellent analytical, mathematical and problem solving techniques ·         Nice to have VBA Excel programming and/or .NET experience ·         Has demonstrated strong attention to detail ·         Effective communications skills (listening, verbal and written) ·         Ability to work on your own as well as a team player

HOURS:

Monday to Friday: 8:00am to 5:00pm
