Serco DES Inc (DriveTest) is looking for professional and highly motivated individuals for the full-time position of Bilingual (French/English) Driver Examiner in Ottawa (Walkley), Ontario. A valid ABZ or ABZM liscence is required for this role.
“DriveTest” is the brand name for Ontario’s Driver Examination Centres, formerly managed by the Ontario Ministry of Transportation (MTO). DriveTest offers Driver Examination Services at 56 DriveTest Centres (see below) and 38 “Travel Points” throughout Ontario. Our DriveTest Centre teams help maintain Ontario’s road safety record with great customer service.

Responsibilities include:
Answer inquiries and provide information to customers,
Explain the type and cost of services offered,
Receive payments,
Issue receipts and other forms,
Receive and log complaints,
Receive application forms,
Access and process information,
Perform general office duties
Conduct all classes of road tests,
Advise applicants of test results and help with office functions.

Possess attention to detail,
Qualifications:
Excellent communication skills (French & English)
Team player
Good problem solving and decision making skills
Proficient computer skills – Work with Windows, General office equipment, Electronic mail, Word processing software,
Willing to travel,
Completion of high school,
Knowledge of applicable sections of the HWY Traffic Act, related regulations and legislation as well as related government and company policies to provide information and advice to applicants,
Driver Examiner applicants must hold a min class ABZ / ABMZ license with a good driving record,
