We have a current opening for an entry level sales representativein Northern Alberta. This position is being created to promote continued growth in the region. Duties and responsibilities of the position are as follows:

·         promote the sale of our products primarily through electrical distributors in the assigned sales territory ·         ensure that sales goals are met and grow our market share ·         development of strong working relationships with key individuals at electrical distributors. Key individuals include Branch Managers, Sales Managers, Purchasing Agents, Inside Sales, Quotations Personnel and Counter Sales Staff ·         develop and maintain contact with end users and specifiers within the electrical  industry with the goal of promoting sales of our products. ·         review,  monitor and follow-up with customers and contacts in a timely manner to  ensure that their needs are being effectively met ·         participate in industry trade shows and distributor counter days within the territory

The successful candidate will have:
·         previous sales experience demonstrating a clear aptitude for meeting customers needs ·         a positive attitude and a top notch work ethic ·         the ability to work independently with minimal supervision ·         strong organization and time management skills ·         effective presentation and communication skills (oral & written) ·         demonstrated interpersonal  skills including the ability to deal with diplomacy and tact in all situations ·         computer literacy in MS  office (word, excel, power point) and similar software ·         a  valid driver’s license and a current driver’s abstract  to enable travel      in the assigned territory including overnight travel as needed We offer:
