Description: Partner - Domestic Tax Services As a result of our firm's expanding market reach throughout Toronto and Southern Ontario, we are pleased to be able to offer a rare opportunity to join the firm at the highest level.
Candidates for this role are regarded as distinguished practitioners in their field, being highly credentialed and a proven commodity in terms of technical acumen, business results and leadership.
You will be making a difference by: · Building and leveraging client relationships
· Ensuring the highest quality delivery of services.
· Demonstrating technical leadership
· Developing and implementing a growth strategy for the tax practice in the region that complements and is supported by the firm’s overall strategy for growth
· Playing a key leadership role within the business unit, service line, community and firm, by actively contributing to the development and execution of the office business plan
· Improving on the operational results of the practice by developing and maintaining productive relationships with clients from a variety of disciplines
· Contributing to new business development by understanding our firm and its service offerings, as well as leveraging your credibility within the industry
· Developing a high-performing and highly engaged team through mentoring and coaching managers
The skills and attributes required for this position include: · Significant tax planning and compliance experience including an in-depth understanding of Canadian taxation matters.
· Sound technical background in domestic tax
· Demonstrated experience in growing a practice and business development
· Strong commitment to professional and client service excellence
· Deep interest in coaching and team development, with a commitment to personal growth
· Ability to influence others and garner the respect of both staff and partners within the business unit
· A CA or other relevant professional accounting designation
