Position:           Class A Mechanic – Full Time
Reporting To:  Shop Supervisor / Location Manager
Location:          Prescott Branch

 
RESPONSIBILITIES: ·         Perform brake, safety and PM inspections ·         Complete work orders legibly and accurately ·         Repair vehicle defects as required ·         Perform road repairs/service calls as required ·         Other duties as assigned by shop supervisor ·         Maintain a clean and safe environment ·         Adhere to all company policies and procedures ·         Comply with Health & Safety regulations in the workplace ·         Maintain required tools for the job & submit tool inventory annually ·         Willingness to attend company programs ·         Maintain a clean yard condition including snow plowing with company vehicle ·         Minor building and ground repairs when needed (light bulbs, signs etc)
EXPERIENCE / KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS LEVEL: ·         Valid Ontario Drivers License ·         Must have a valid Class A Mechanics License (T & S designation) ·         Willingness to work with others and learn ·         Mechanically minded and safety conscious ·         Must be flexible with hours ·         Minimum Grade 12 Education with basic computer skills
WORKING CONDITIONS:         ·         Garage environment and on road repairs as required. ·         May be called upon for weekend or evening service calls ·         Small garage environment one mechanic, 2 bay shop ·         Hours to accommodate our operational needs 6:30am to 11:00am and 1:00pm to 4:30pm ·         Involves day shifts and may be requested to work overtime when required.       APPLY NOW!!!
